About the Job

The Graphic Designer is accountable for the successful completion of design deliverables for Periphery’s client campaigns. You will take provided design briefs and execute any required deliverable for the campaign. This mainly includes digital and print marketing collateral.

Reporting directly to the head of the design department, you are a self-starter with a strong attention to detail. The successful candidate should have previous experience and have demonstrated technical capabilities of producing industry standard designs.

What You’ll Be Doing

Collaborate with project managers and copywriters to develop creative direction and execute design concepts for real estate focused projects
Create visually appealing graphics, illustrations, and layouts for digital and print media
Ensure that all designs align with brand guidelines and maintain a consistent visual identity
Remain flexible when accommodating client feedback into design deliverables
Effectively communicate design decisions for deliverables if requested (for clients to understand the design choices presented)
Conduct market research to stay updated on industry trends and best practices
Use Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and other software to create high-quality designs

What You’ll Bring

Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design or a related field (or equivalent work experience)
Minimum 1 year experience as a graphic designer or in a similar role in an agency or in-house setting
Strong portfolio showcasing a range of design projects
Solid understanding of graphic design principles, digital design principles and web standards.
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
Proficiency in interface design and prototyping software such as Figma is a plus
Proficiency in video/animation software such as After Effects, and Adobe Premiere Pro is a plus
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and take direction from senior designers
Excellent communication skills to effectively present ideas and concepts to clients and team members
Chinese speaking is an asset
